Isn’t it shiny? And yellow?  It also has twelve card slots, two billfolds, a change pocket and an exterior slide pocket.

At almost 4″ high, by almost 8″ long, please don’t call it a wallet; it prefers to be called a “carrying case”.

Tibi Red Gerbera Shell at ChickDowntown

Tibi Red Gerbera Shell at ChickDowntown

How about this Tibi Red Gerbera Shell for $54? Size 8, 100% cotton.  Brilliant blossoms top with back button closure.

Oh – I’m looking at this size chart and these are definitely not true-to-size.  I wear a size 6 on top, and according to their size chart I’d be about a 10 on their site.  So proceed with caution.

If you have a store nearby that sells this brand (say a better department store) and can try a few pieces on just for size, that would be a good idea.

Juicy Flocked Shirt at Neiman Marcus

Juicy Flocked Shirt at Neiman Marcus

Finally, I was reading just the other day about how venerable luxury retailer Neiman Marcus posted a 20% loss compared to this time last year.  So it occurs to me – pr0n stars: it’s time to do our part.  We too must sacrifice in order to save the economy.  We must shop at Neiman Marcus.

Think you could never afford to shop at Neiman’s? Think again. Think about this Juicy Couture Flocked top. Very bohemian. Very mint. Very $59.00.

Theory Cargo Skirt at Neiman Marcus

Theory Cargo Skirt at Neiman Marcus

Or this Theory Cargo skirt for $75.00.  They call the color “Myrrh”; I think Theory would have made an excellent gift for the baby Jesus, don’t you?

You know what this post needs? More cowbell handbags and shoes.

These Taryn Rose boots are an incredible find.  Taryn Rose is a former Orthopedic Surgeon turned shoe designer who creates stunning shoes that are good for your feet.

Taryn Rose Helium Polished Leather Boot

Unfortunately for us humans, the prices are stunning, too.

Her Helium Polished Leather boots are still available in a wide range of colors and sizes, and are half-off, at $203.   If you’re in the market for a pair of black or brown boots try these.

My BFF, K, was recently treated to a pair of Taryn Rose boots worth nearly my monthly rent! Now that’s pr0n!

Lauren Merkin Eve Clutch at Luna Boston
Lauren Merkin Eve Clutch at Luna Boston

Handbag pickings at Neiman’s were pretty slim, so I went to old faithful, LunaBoston, to show you Lauren Merkin.  I looove Lauren Merkin clutches.

I’m not normally a clutch kind of a girl, but these are so stylish and chich that I’m drawn to them.

Like this Eve Textured Lambskin clutch in Coral – it was $180, and it’s now $135 – plus free shipping for any orders over $100 and free returns.  What are you waiting for? Go! Shoo!

.

By now certainly you’ve found something to stimulate the economy with. I hope you enjoy your purchases (send me pictures!), and I hope you enjoyed today’s edition of Shopping Pr0n!

Until next time, my lovely pr0n pickles – it was good for me; tell me, was it good for you?

Pr0n Plus: Spring Basics Edition

La Canadienne Stella, $225.68

La Canadienne Stella, $225.68 at Zappos

Happy Spring, Northern Hemisphere!  I’m afraid this blog is a bit Northern-Hemisphere-centric.  I’m a day late with this week’s Pr0n Plus, but I think it’s a good one.  In today’s Shopping Pr0n, we’re going to look at spring wardrobe basics.

I’ll be showing plus size styles, but these are items which should and can go in anyone’s closet: a spring coat, a cotton shirt, pants, sweater, a day dress, and some cute comfy shoes.

.

The first thing everyone needs for spring is a raincoat.  You can sing “Rain rain go away” to your heart’s content, but it doesn’t seem to do much good.

Standing Collar Trench, $54.99 at Target

Standing Collar Trench, $54.99 at Target

Pears/Hourglasses and apples have different needs for coats.  (How do you know if you’re a pear or an apple?  Do you have a defined waist?  No?  You’re an apple.

Do you have Bette Davis eyes thighs?  You’re a pear.) When buying coats, a pear actually doesn’t necessarily want to define a waist.

Look at this classic belted trenchcoat from Target.  Yes, Target.  For a pear or hourglass is that once you cinch the belt, it over-emphasizes what’s happening down below, and you look lumpy and heavier than you are.

For an apple, this helps define what you don’t have much of.  Since there’s less inch difference beween chest, waist and butt, the belt will emphasize, not over-emphasize.

.
.
Pears (for the rest of this post, just extend pear advice to hourglasses), try something like this fun “Rainy Day Mac” from Boden.

Rainy Day Mac, $138 at Boden

Rainy Day Mac, $138 at Boden

Don’t worry about your waist – it’s not going anywhere.  The key is to deemphasize the “booty area” (it’s a technical term).

.
By wearing something that doesn’t chop you off in the middle, you look sleek and svelte.  Boden goes up to a UK size 20 (US 18ish), and they have this style in a few other patterns.

.
What I love about Boden’s website is that they show you how much stock they have left for each color and size.
.
..
.
Working from the outside in, you’re going to want a day dress: something you can dress up for work, and dress down on the weekend.  I love this tie-back dress from Donna Ricco.
.
Donna Ricco Tie Back Dress, $168

Donna Ricco Tie Back Dress, $168

Big prints are great for plus-sizes; it’s a matter of proportion.  Also, this type of tie-back, or similar wrap-dress is going to flatter lots of body types.

.
Not everyone has a small waist, but the smallest part of every woman’s body is almost always under her bust.  Add an adjustable top to an empire waist and it’s genius.
.
Remember that you can always put a cami on underneath if there’s too much boobage (also a technical term).
..
..

Every woman must must must (must) have in her closet a simple button down shirt, a pair of casual pants, and a colorful cardigan.

Gap Dobby Striped Roll-Up Shirt, $48

Gap Dobby Striped Roll-Up Shirt, $48

These three pieces can be mixed and matched with nearly everything else in your closet, will never go out of fashion, and can be bought nearly anywhere to suit your individual style.

Simply Be Combat Pants, 32p

Simply Be Combat Pants, 32p

I’ve chosen a white cotton roll-up shirt from the Gap, a pair of pants from Simply Be, and a cardigan from Pink Marzipan.

The Gap has practically made its name on basics like this; their XXL is a size 18 or 20.  J. Crew goes up to a 16 on many products, as does Banana Republic.

PAS Knitted Cardigan In China Blue- Poro, 64p

PAS Knitted Cardigan In China Blue- Poro, 64p

For a lower price point, try Macy’s or Target or H&M.  Oh!  This summer (I think), Forever21 is coming out with a plus size line.  Yay!  Hopefully it will be the same kind of “knock-off trendy” as the original.

One point about this style of cardigan/sweater: it has the potential to be very cute on both apples and pears, but pears have to be careful.

If it doesn’t look right, it’ll wind up making you look pregnant.  If it does look right, it’ll look cute and flowy.  I’m a pear and I bought similar a few weeks ago, but the style rarely works on me.

.
It is my sincere belief that every woman should own at least one pair of red shoes.  These Vaneli flats are very similar to a pair of Eccos I splurged on and have never regretted.

Vaneli Indo Flat, $54.97 at Endless

Vaneli Indo Flat, $54.97 at Endless

They’ve got a slight heel (much better for you than plain flats), and cushy, flexible rubber soles.  You’ll get compliments on them nearly every time you wear them.  Dinsquared guaranteed.

These puppies are on clearance for $54 and change at Endless. com, and they’re still available in lots  of narrow and wide sizes up to a 10.

You need a pair of shoes that aren’t sneakers that are still comfortable to walk around in: to a friend’s house, to lunch, to the mall.  I can wear my Eccos for hours.; these Vaneli’s look pretty comfy, too.

Jimmy Choo "Clue" at Nordstrom

Jimmy Choo "Clue" at Nordstrom

By the way, did you know that Jimmy Choo’s go up to a size 11.5/12?  I certainly didn’t.
.
Jimmy Choo’s really don’t have anything specific to do with spring, but they’re fabulous and come in a large size, so I’m showing them to you.  Aren’t they fabulous?
..

That’s all the time we have together today my little pr0n popcorn.  I have more post ideas than I have time to do them all.

.

I hope to bring you a post on women’s suits, a series dressing for your body type, a series on how to make a wardrobe out of your closet, a post on coats…oy!  Please stay with me, won’t you?
.
Until next time, it was good for me; tell me, was it good for you?

Sample Sale Pr0n: Navigating Sample Sales

Hi pron friends, I hope you’ve been well during our time apart.  Today in Shopping Pr0n, we’re going to discuss the “Sample Sale”: websites that are devoted just to designer extras and samples.  With patience and determination you may be able to find top designers, at deeply discounted prices; they may be new or straight off the runway, but they’re almost always in limited quantities and sizes.  Act quickly!

Jenny Dyer London Turquoise Dress

Jenny Dyer London Turquoise Dress

Even if a store is not just for sample sales, if you’re willing to risk losing a piece of clothing, or buy for next year, you may be able to get what you want drastically reduced when there are only a few sizes left.

Two of my favorite colors for Spring are cobalt blue, and turquoise – I’ve been showing them to you non-stop: in Spring Color TrendsSunday Brunch, and the Almost March Edition of Pr0n Plus.

This turqoise Jenny Dyer dress is from Catwalk to Closet, which is designer samples and extras.  I chose it also because it’s available in UK 12-16 (US 10-14ish).

This dress retails for £325, but is selling for £60 or about $85, for a top of the line designer dress.  Do you pay for the name with designer clothing? Sure.  But you also get outstanding fit, fabric and quality.

.

Here’s my first attempt at a suit outfit.  This matching thing is harder than I thought!  I’m working with a suit by the unfortunately named Hickey Style.  It’s a tan cotton/wool twill suit, originally $1095, now $385.  The jacket is a 3-button, with flat-front pants.  It’s made in the U.S.A., and available in a smattering of regular and long sizes.

I love a man in a suit

Clearance Sale Suits

I picked out two shirts: the dark blue is $89, down from $225 at Barney’s Co-Op.  It’s cotton poplin, which is kind of a heavier weight cotton.

With either shirt you could skip the jacket and put it with the pants and these Ted Baker perforated boots from Bluefly, or use the jacket and a pair of dark wash jeans.

I loooove a man in nice shoes, but even I fall asleep eventually looking at them, which is why I like the detail on the top and sides of these boots, size 13; they were $210 and are now $87.99.  The shirt has a small navy, white and burgundy floral pattern, and I chose a sky blue, navy and burgundy tie in a wider pattern by Moschino at Forzieri

If you keep things in the same color genre…it should work.  We’ll learn together, my little pr0n papayas!

The other shirt is a beautiful bright blue with alternating blue and purple stripes.  “Vibert” is at Bluefly; $54.39 down from $125.  I tried two ties from Hickey Style at Bluefly; a brown with white, and an orange with little green army men. :D  Men, please let me know how I did here!  Would you wear these?

.

Here’s another way to wear orange: with green and brown.  This outfit ended up having almost an ethnic feel to it.  The orange and white tunic is from Tory Burch, a designer whose logo flats became so ubiquitous so quickly that every bone in my fashionista body rebelled.  Eventually more of her line came out and I was in love.

Tory, Lily, Robert & Kate

Ethnic Casual for Spring

Anyway,  the tunic is from Catwalk to Closet and retails for £165, but sells in a Size 6 for £65 (about $90USD).  Buy it before I do!

With the tunic, try these Robert Rodriguez Latte Capris (or any capris) with an embroidered waistband (multiple sizes!).  Normally $275, yours for $90.89.

We’re working with orange as the main color, and accenting around it.  I didn’t intend to put the outfit together this way, but usually colors will be “in” for a season, and you’ll find lots.  The necklace is on sale for $98 at Shoptwigs; the flats are Lily Pulitzer: originally $248, now $79 at Simply Soles.  Why?  Because they’re only in brown, size 6.5.  But we could have worn them in green to match the necklace.

Finally this cutie pie of a Kate Spade tote!  Usually $295, but at SmartBargains.com for $119.97!  You’re lucky I don’t buy totes…

.

I always save my favorite for last; this set just makes me squeal with delight!  I’m such a girly girl, so anything that makes me feel that way makes me happy.  Again, every piece in this outfit just kind of came together.  Start with this Chloe (!) A-line purple skirt at Catwalk to Closet.  Pronistas, this is a £475 skirt for £99!!!!

Iris

A girly set in yellow, green and purple

So…$130, 100% linen, French sizes 38 & 42 or US 10 & 14ish. Unbeliveable!

Choose from two blouses: the yellow is Juicy Couture: $89 down from $178 – sizes 10-14!  The white blouse is from Graham & Spencer at FunkyLaLa (funky!).  Originally $250, now $75!!  I can’t stop using exclamation marks!!

The cute purple clutch is at Bluefly, and about half-off at $53.09.  The croc flats are Sam Edleman’s  from celebrity-fave Kitson L.A.  Once $95, now $41.

Okay – my favoritest pieces.  These adorable yellow/green sunglasses are dvb, which I actually didn’t know is Victoria Beckham’s line.  LOL. Bad Fashionista!  At £60, they’re still a fun splurge, but it’s better than £165.  Finally these pumps!  Yellow patent leather Colin Robertson, peep toe, slingback, gradiated 4″ heel for $65 at Kitson, sizes 6-10!  Are you ready for this? Originally $345!  I wish you could see how excited I am. :D

.

Well!  Good deals are exhausting!  If I’m lucky, I’ll have ready for you tonight Pr0n Plus: The very best in plus size fashion.  Pr0n Plus is every Monday, my lovely pr0n addicts!

.
Until then, it was good for me; tell me, was it good for you?

Budget Pr0n!

Hi pr0nsters.  If there’s anything your blogger loves more than a sale, it’s a challenge.  Today I will be combining the two.  In this (first) edition of Dirt Cheap Pr0n, I will be putting together three pr0nish looks for $100-150.  Everyone knows the Fifth Rule of Shopping Pr0n:  A true pr0nista doesn’t depend on price.  You rarely have to pay full price, loveys.

.

A sale is a tricky thing; you want the best price, but you don’t want the item to sell out in your size, particularly if you’re in the 10-14 range, which generally sells first.  So choose wisely – decide what an item of clothing is worth to you, sign up for email lists at favorite stores so you’ll get advance notice of sales, and special discounts, and when the time is right – pounce!  Sometimes that time is right away.  But rarely.

Outfit #1 is a work/date/dinner outfit..

I’m going to start with this fuchsia silk cami on final sale over at J. Crew.  It’s a final sale, so you have to know how this particular brand fits you, but I like it because it’s versatile – wear it under a suit, or with jeans or a pencil skirt.  They have it available in most sizes, and it’s in ivory, too.

The cami is fully lined, with a side zipper and it’s machine washable.  So this gets a thumbs up for me for $29.99, originally $75.00.

.

Right now I’m thinking that I don’t like final sales – scary.  So I’m going to pair this with a classic pencil skirt on sale at Martin & Osa .

Because the cami has a slight A-Line I want something more fitted on bottom to balance it out.  This pencil skirt can go from work to evening, I like the above the knee length, and the slight sheen.

The skirt has a little stretch in it, and it’s fully lined.  Martin & Osa has free shipping and returns, and the skirt is still available in sizes 6-18.  So this skirt is a winner for only $19.99 on clearance from $69.99, and I’ve only spent half my budget.  Whoo!

.

I’m kind of flexible with how I can finish the outfit on top depending on how much money I have left, but I know I need shoes so that’s what I’m after next.

Endless.com has free overnight shipping on regular priced shoes, but these are clearance, so it’s standard shipping, which is 3-5 business days.  Still – free! Loving these cute Bongo peep toe Thora pumps for$26.10.

Thora has a 3.5 inch heel with a .25 inch platform, peep toe, and is available in sizes 6 to 8.5.  I can still spend $24.00 or so on accessories or a jacket if I’m really lucky.

.

Overstock.com has $1.00 shipping, so I’m going to take advantage of that.  For $9.89 this pink ring matches the pink top, and will give the outfit another splash of color.

Finally I’m going to brighten the whole thing with a Sterling Silver Polished Flex Bangle Bracelet for $15.29.

Grand total, including shipping with J. Crew equals $110.76. *beams*  Throw in your own handbag and black tights, pls.

.

Outfit #2 is an outfit that can be casual, work or date.  Almost anywhere.

I don’t know why finding an affordable, pr0nish dress was so difficult, but trust me: it was.  I found the dress I chose in an unlikely place: The Greenloop.  This is an organic cotton wrap dress; you may have heard that wrap dresses are nearly universally flattering, and it’s true.  Whether you’ve got a tummy or hips, a wrap dress can camouflage.

Again, this is organic cotton, with a deep v-neck (throw a cami under if there’s too much cleavage), 3/4 length sleeves, and an a-line skirt that hits right above the knee (too long? the tailor is your friend).  It’s available up to an XL (16) in Black, Cranberry, Midnight Blue and Truffle (shown).

Diane was originally $95, it’s on sale for $75; use code sale25 and the final price is $61.75 (including $5.00 shipping). It’s a simple dress, but that just means you can do a lot with it.

.

I love it with boots, but thinking outside the box, I went over to Payless.  They’re following Target’s lead and teaming up with high fashion designers to produce pr0nish Payless lines.

These gray flats are Lela Rose for Target. Your dear blogger is all over gray tights right now, too. They go with everything and are such a cute change from black.  The flats $34, so this outfit is going to be more than the last.

Speaking of Target, while we’re running errands, we’ll swing into there.  Hayden-Harnett has a limited edition line there, and I’ll be darned if I’m going to miss out on that!

The website seems to feel this is a rectangular clutch with no straps; I beg to differ.  This is a brown rectangular PVC bag, with a fold-over flap (don’t know if the interior zips or not), with a square gold-tone detail on the front and a skinny strap.

The interior has the Hayden Harnett signature.

You can have your own Hayden Harnett for $29.99 (the clutch is $19.99).  We’re up to $125, so let’s throw in one more thing and call it a wrap.

.

In fact, that’s a great idea.  I’m going to throw on this purple ruffle-knit acrylic wrap.  It’ll keep me warm and give the outfit a little contrast color, which will go with any of the colors the dress is in, and give a little contrast texture.  It’s $14.99 on clearance.

Our grand total is about $140, and we got a dress, shoes, handbag and a wrap.  Not shabby!  If we’d used our own shoes, and bought the clutch, we’d come in right at $100.

.

Outfit #3 is for men, and I’m anticipating this is going to be easy.

Men, I’m going to teach you a very valuable skill: it’s called layering.  A few years ago, Scowley’s hubby came down for the weekend and I cleaned him up but good.  This is the kind of outfit we’re going to put together.

Here’s what you do: you take a button down shirt with a little personality, like this Project E pale green distressed ‘Rivington’ button down shirt from Bluefly.com.  Retail price: $84.99, Bluefly price $50, reduced to $44.99, Presidents Day sale price: $35.99.

Now you pair it with a nice t-shirt underneath.  A nice t-shirt.  A new t-shirt.  With some color and personality.  I like this coffee colored graphic-tee, also from Pr0ject E.  Yes, the top is green and the bottom is brown.  You can do that.  When in doubt, buy a color wheel.

(Okay, I’m being stereotypical here.  My guy friends are actually pretty hot and dress well.)  The t-shirt was blah blah, it’s now $16.79 when all is said and done.

.

Whee.  We’re only up to about 5o bucks.  We need jeans.  I have to impress on both men and women that jeans shopping sucks.  You may have to try on more than one pair.  You may have to try on lots of pairs.  Suck it up.

Don’t overthink jeans.  Head over to Old Navy, and pick yourself up a pair of medium/dark rinse boot-cut jeans for $29.50.  (I know, I just contradicted myself, but for the sake of this post, my point is that jeans don’t need to cost $200.)

.

We’re up to $80, and we need shoes.  I’m partial to a nice “sneaker” like this navy nylon “Kamikaze” from Gola at Bluefly.

As long as they’re not actual sneakers, and they’re neat and clean, you’re golden.

These are $39.99.  Bluefly shipping within the continental U.S. is a flat $7.95, bringing our fine gentleman’s grand total to $130.22.

Once you’ve got this type of dressing down, call your blogger! (Have I mentioned I’m single?)

There you have it!  Three complete outfits, which will stretch very far in your closet for under $150.  Yay!

.

This was a pain in the butt, but the thing is that good sales are usually much easier to find in person.  Stores like Loehmann’s, TJMaxx, Marshalls and Filene’s Basement will save you money on good name brands right off the bat.  Sign up for their email lists, find out about sales, and get coupons via email and save even more!

Dress like a million bucks for just a hundred.  Now that’s pr0n. Thanks for reading, lumpkins.  I’m a bit under the weather, so I hope it was up to par.

As always, it was good for me; tell me, was it good for you?

Sales Pr0n – Dying of the Flu Edition

Thanks for coming back my pr0n muffins.  I’m dying of the flu and wanted to make sure I showed you these sales before I did.  If I trail off mid-outfit, just administer apple juice.

I once read that everybody loves a parade; I’m not sure how they reached that conclusion.  Frankly I’d like to see their research methodology,

Originally $395, now $198

Originally $395, now $198

but my point being that everybody likes a sale.  Feel free to insert the comment of your choice about the recession here.  Kind of like those Choose Your Own Adventure Books I used to read.

Remember the Fourth Rule of Shopping Pr0n: Just because something is 75% off, does not mean you need it.  It’s very much related to the First Rule. Almost Rule 1a.  My father taught me to ask myself this before buying something: Where will I wear it? If you don’t know, no matter how fabulous it is, put it back.

Take for instance this butter yellow cropped leather motorcycle jacket from Domaleather.  Let’s look closely: slightly puffed shoulders, stitching detail at the neck and along the zipper, angled front pockets, 3/4 length sleeves with an elastic wrist, and a slim cropped fit.

RevolveClothing is selling this jacket in yellow (sizes M,L) and dark violet (which I might actually like more, size M only).  This piece of art was originally $481 and is now $241.

Half off leather. *cries*  Someone please buy this and send me a picture so I can pretend I’m you.

.

Now here’s something you will wear over and over and over:  From Thomas Pink‘s “Richard Nicholl’s Collection” is this “Ruth” women’s dress.

The image is crap, so click to see the full size one.  This really is classic design at its best.  Thomas Pink is top quality and style.

This is a 100% cotton shirt dress with trims on cuffs, pockets and hem, a  pleated bib (just what you’d think it would be), roll up sleeves, self fabric covered buttons and detachable fabric belt.  It looks gray, but it’s actually a black pinstripe.

These are UK sizes, but their handy dandy size chart will conveniently convert you. For future reference they go up to a U.S. size 18, but the highest this dress is in stock is a 16. Why? Well it was first selling for $500 (yes, that’s right) and it’s now $189. At better than half price, remember the Second Rule of Shopping Pr0n: Get it while it lasts.  Supplies are limited, first come, first served.

.

Now, almost all – if not all – of the shoes I’ve shown you here on the Pr0n (as I like to call it) have been heels.  Often very high heels.  (You know what they say: the higher the heel, the closer to God), but that’s really only because I haven’t found flats pr0nish enough to meet my standards for you, muffins!  I care!  Look at these and tell me they’re not the cutest things you’ve ever seen (go on – tell me.).

“Foxy Ballerina” from Marc by Marc Jacobs; once these beauties were $425, now they’re $213. And if you had $213, wouldn’t you spend it on these fuchsia (so hard to spell) or charcoal patent leather flats?

They’re actually a 1″ heel, which is better for your feet, and have a fox ear detail at the vamp with a square toe.  They’re available for your foxy pleasure at Bergdorf Goodman.

.

But really, really what makes my heart go pitter pat are a pair of drool inducing heels, like these at ShopBop.com.  Please ignore the idiotic caption on the website; what you need to know is that these are “Folded Ornament Wedges” from Leopoldo Giordano.  If I ever meet Leo, I’d like to hug him. That’s all.  Just a hug.

It goes down like this: 4″ patent leather wedges in Blue or Taupe (get the Blue), made in Italy. Marked down from $545, these shoes-of-a-lifetime can be yours for $163.50.

There’s a tab detail at the vamp, and if you look closely you can see a seam detail along the heel.  If you go to the website you can look at the shoe from all angles. *giggles*  (No, you don’t need to tell me I lack maturity.  I know.)

.

Really good fashion is all about details.  Details and quality.  Details, quality and fit.  Never mind – before this turns into the Spanish Inquisition, let’s look at this zip front skirt by Michen, which has all 3.

Take a beautiful wool/nylon/cashmere pencil skirt with a silk lining, add a waistband with a tortoise shell colored button, a bit of pleating just to kick it up a notch, and a zipper running on the diagonal, and you’ll have this skirt.

If you’re a size 4 or 6, head over to Tobi.com and plunk down your $150 for a half off skirt.  This beautiful skirt is made in the U.S.A. used to be $301.

One of the things I love, especially on bigger women, is a beautiful, large print in a bold color.   Apparently the stylists at American Idol agreed, because they used this Diva Halter in red from Missphit.

.Admittedly, I find the clothing at Missphit hit or miss, but their hits are bullseyes, and so are their prices. This was originally $45, and it’s now $32.

This chiffon high neck halterneck actually has a full front and back lining so your not showing anything you don’t intend to (*cough*) and a smocked bottom band. It’s sized (and available) 1x-3x, which Missphit says is about a 14w to 24W.  Can’t miss.

.

.There’s another saying (Yes, another saying. Deal.): into every man’s life a little cashmere must fall.  That’s right isn’t it? If you or someone you know needs a little cashmere to fall into his life, head on over to Bluefly.com.

If you’re a small or an extra-large, you’re in luck!  Imagine slipping into this charcoal/silver/blue basketweave v-neck sweater by ADAM.

Original price: $375, the actual retail price of your showcase sweater is $179.99 for a small, $109.99 for an XL (No clue, don’t ask.)

My friend and reader, Rachel, turned me on to LunaBoston.com, which is filled to the brim with different brands of handbags, shoes and accessories.  Bright color is everywhere for spring, and it’s all over Lorelai’s “Madison” tote.

Madison comes in green only, with a bright pink fabric lining.  Black and yellow sold out, and green is apparently available only in very limited quantities so don’t hesitate if you love this bag (Damn. I really should be on QVC.)

.

.Men should not be afraid of a little color either.  Take for instance this 1960s blazer from Juicy Couture. Now, can we all agree that this is in fact a nice blazer, and not over the top? Thank you. It’s just that my friend Deka over at That’s Hideous, found these truly atrocious Juicy ski goggles., and felt the need to denigrate Juicy. *snif*. So I felt the need to show her some very subdued Juicy.

I’d be happy to go on a date with any man wearing this blazer.  It’s nice, it’s purple and I like purple, it’s stylish and proves he put some thought into his outfit, and it’s Juicy!  Someone I’m on a date with wearing Juicy? Bonus!  Either he dresses well or knows how to find someone who does, which is equally valid.

Anyway, they’re calling this burgundy, and cotton.  It looks like corduroy to me, but it could just be a nubby cotton (yeah, i know corduroy is cotton).  It once was $218, and it’s now $163.

.

Before we wrap up, you must see this organic cotton and bamboo “Alison” dress from Sublet.

One thing you should know about your blogger is that she has ridiculously sensitive skin.  I wear very little wool, no angora or lambswool (which I guess is a type of wool).  Your dear blogger only wears cotton, silk, cashmere, or soft synthetics.  So I’m adoring all the new clothing that’s coming out in organic cotton and bamboo. Bamboo!  Who knew?

This dress is just sexy as all get out.  It does have a deep v-neck, so if you can’t wear stick-on boobies or similar, put a silk or cotton cami underneath.  This is beautiful detailing that is great to expose an upper body and camouflage what’s going on below the waist.

Oh – the site I found it at is The Green Loop.com.  They were selling the dress for $242, and it’s now $121 in black.  Made in the U.S.A.

.

It wouldn’t be pr0n without lingerie (plus it gets me site hits).  I searched high and low for some lovely cotton lingerie on sale, but it was not to be found.  So we’ll skip the sale and go for the comfy and sexy  from sheandme.com .

How yummy are these boyshorts that are solid in the front and pattern in the back, with a little lace trim?  The solid comes in pomegranete, ivory, mocha, navy, chocolate and sienna. 94% modal, 6% spandex, made in the U.S.A $30

Happy bargain hunting, my little pr0nistas!

As always, it was good for me; tell me: was it good for you?

Next time on ShoppingPr0n (if I survive the flu): More Pr0n Plus – Only the best plus sized pr0n.
