Who Am I?

Dinsquareds Fantasy Closet

Dinsquared's Fantasy Closet

I’m a self-professed girlie girl with a J. Crew problem who dreams of a closet full of handbags.

I hit that “awkward phase” from about age 10 to age 21, and evolved a fiercer, faster fashionista.  When my friends need style advice they turn to me.  I dream one day of supporting my shopping habit by being a personal shopper, but until then I have this blog.

Cusp - Seriously, security knows me know.

Cusp - Seriously, security knows me now.

My fantasies include a handbag shopping spree at Nordstrom, and walking in- entourage in tow- to buy one of everything I want at Cusp.

I believe a great bargain is one of the best highs there is, that fashion is 60% proportion – 40% inspiration, and that you can never have too much patent leather.

Mom Jeans - A blight on fashion

Mom Jeans - A blight on fashion

My fetishes include men with great shoes, a fabulous coat, and properly fitted bras. Style turn offs are men in sneakers, gum chewing, smoking, Crocs, and mom jeans.

Everyone knows the internet is for pr0n; why shouldn’t shopping be?

I’m Dinsquared and this is Shopping Pr0n.

  1. Thanks for comment , in regards to Man bags.
Jack Spade is for men and is designed for men. Kate Spade designs the female range. This bag is great for men, especially in summer. Come to London and you will see many men will the style.

  2. Love the site keep up the great work. Awesome

  6. Thanks for the kind and funny comments on my blog – happy to meet yours! Great work (especially on our shared loathing of Mom jeans and Crocs…)

  7. I also into J Crew products especially their children clothing lines. Their products are awesome.

After shoes, my next obsession are handbags – high end quality ones.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving comment on my blog. Very much appreciated. Keep up the good work.

  8. I figured I had it all figured out, until I visited your blog today…

Sadly, I still haven’t translated the word “pron” and it meaning… wait! I am going to go ask one of my “fashion freak” twenty-something daughter right now!

Maybe she can interpret for me! Arghh… ;)

  9. Dear William – Click on the link; it’s explanatory, and I promise worksafe. :)

Just apply the concept to fashion or shopping.

  13. Hi there.

I thought it’d only be appropriate for me to return the favour and drop by to see you on your home turf.

Unfortunately, I have to confess I didn’t know where else to leave a comment but here.
That’s because I don’t do fashion. At all. My idea of a purse is a $10 bag in which I can stuff a six-pack of beer, a spare sweater and a pair of flip-flops.
I can’t make it to the front door of my apartment in a pair of stilettos.
I wear my winter platform boots all year round.
As a matter of fact, I think platform shoes and low-rise flares are the hottest inventions since sliced bread.

Which is the reason I haven’t showed my face until now.
It’s a nice-looking blog that you have there though, I must say.

And I’ll add that you seem to be a pretty darn cool person too, fashionista or not! ;)

  14. Hi. My name is Che and I came across your blog, shoppingpr0n.wordpress.com . I found a lot of informative stuff, and your posts are really good. I have a small online store, homedecorations.com , that you might want to check out. Maybe you and your readers will be interested in what the store has to offer.
I’m not trying to sell you anything, I just want to know if we can exchange links? You can send me the details – Title and URL that you want me to put. I’ll also send you my site’s details, if you agree.
Thanks and keep up the good work!
